Juicy rewards await the Housemates with the highest amounts of points in this Season’s hair styling, maintenance and hair support, courtesy of Darling Nigeria.
Today, Biggie reminded the Lockdown Housemates that at the end of the season, the female Housemate with the highest points for hair styling and maintenance and the male housemate with the highest points for hair styling support will both be rewarded with 2,000,000 Naira and 1,000,000 Naira respectively. It may seem as though the Housemates are starting to relax on their hair styling and maintenance and have gotten comfortable with giving minimum hair styling support they give to each other every Sunday. For this reason, Biggie brought out receipts of their accumulated scores so far.
Below is the result from the previous weeks:
In week one and two, all Lockdown Housemates earned ten points each.
In week three, Dorathy earned another ten points, while Erica got eight points. Both Tolanibaj and Vee earned six points. Nengi scored three, while Lucy and Wathoni earned two points each.
In the case of the male Housemates for week three, Prince took the lead by earning all ten points; Trikytee eight points; Neo seven points; Laycon six points; Brighto and Praise with three points each, while Kiddwaya and Ozo earned two points each.
For week four; Vee, Wathoni and Lucy earned ten, nine and eight points respectively, while Tolanibaj scored four points. Nengi, Erica and Dorathy all earned zero points for their hair styling and maintenance in the week.
Prince and Trikytee both scored ten points each for their hair styling support in week four, while Neo, Praise, Brighto and Kiddwaya all scored six points each. Laycon and Ozo both had four points each.
Bearing their accumulated points in mind, the salon doors were opened, and this means another opportunity for the Housemates to garner more points.
With five hours to Find Their Beautiful, here’s what they got up to in today’s Darling hair styling session this morning:
Which male and female Housemate deserve the Darling Find Your Beautiful rewards?
A heated afterparty
Things turned ugly in the BBNaija House between Neo and Vee before the Party. and got worse after it.
What started as a misunderstanding over food soon escalated to the extent that Vee and Neo stopped talking and even kept their distance during the Saturday Night Party. It was evident that they had an altercation as they avoided each other throughout the Party with Neo dancing with everyone else. At some point during the night, Vee tried to get his attention and it almost turned into a mild drama. It took the intervention of Laycon and Ozo to pacify Neo so that it didn’t escalate.
What Neo said
Neo explained that he was trying to get Vee food so she could take her pain killers. Brighto was the one making the meal and he was initially undecided about making either Poundo or Semo. Neo knew that Vee only ate Poundo and he asked Brighto to make that instead. In a twist, Brighto ended up making Semo for the House. Neo’s explanation to Vee about why Semo was made instead of Poundo didn’t seem to go down well and she stormed off leaving him mad. “It feels like I am always being taken for a ride every time I show I’m caring,” he said while explaining his issue to Ozo. To end his explanation, Neo was vocal about ending it with Vee saying, “I no do again.”
“Food is not the issue, it is the way he reacted,” she said, expressing her real concerns while talking to Prince and Laycon. Vee went further and revealed that Neo went as far as shouting at her. She told Nengi earlier that she found it to be quite embarrassing. “I don’t like feeling embarrassed… he didn’t have to shout,” she said. She ended the conversation with Laycon and Prince by insisting that she was becoming repetitive as she was always dealing with the same thing. Vee did mention that she had no intention of ending it with him and would talk to him later today.
Looks like a triangle
A new triangle might have been created and even though the members of the triangle deny they are in it, it seems like the wheels have already been set in motion. Brighto, Dorathy and Wathoni make up this triangle. To avoid past mistakes in the House, Dorathy made the effort to seek out Wathoni’s consent before talking to Brighto. “I want to know if you want his full attention, cause I don’t know what you want and what you guys got going and I don’t want to be in your way,” she said. Dorathy went on further saying “I just don’t want to have a problem with you over him. I would rather fight with him than you.” Wathoni responded that she was tired, and she didn’t want to be in a triangle anymore. One thing they eventually agreed on was that Brighto was quite smart and they decided to play a fast one on him. Wathoni urged Dorathy to go and join him in bed even though Brighto had earlier invited her. She was going to walk in when Dorathy was settled to see his reaction.
While waiting for Dorathy to get comfortable in Brighto’s bed, Wathoni revealed what they were up to Vee. Not only did she reveal what they were scheming, but she also opened up about kissing Brighto and even went on to admit he was a good kisser. Vee warned her that Brighto doesn’t like anyone in this House and he was only on a cruise before helping her confirm that Dorathy was settled in his bed. The plan didn’t exactly go as planned because Brighto eventually left his bed for Dorathy to go sleep in the garden where Wathoni joined him.
It is still quite surprising how much drama the Housemates have up their sleeves especially when it comes to relationships in the House.

Kiddwaya wins the Betway Arena Games for the first time in record time.
For the first time, Kiddwaya has won the Betway Arena Games making him the champion for the 6th week. He takes over from Praise, the winner of the last edition. From being Deputy Head of House to being the HoH and now, the Arena Games champion, Kiddwaya has had an amazing run in the House so far.
In keeping with the week’s Superhero theme, this edition of Betway Arena Games paid tribute to the brave men and women of the armed forces that bravely risk their lives to ensure safety and featured a basic armed forces training exercise. To get the Games started, the Housemates were provided with elbow and knee guards as the got briefed about what the course entailed.
The Betway Arena Games featured six simple courses that each Housemate had to complete in three minutes. For the first course, the Housemates had to run through tyre tracks making sure to step in every tyre hole without skipping any hole or jumping over any tyre. From there, they moved to the second course which involved them running under the arch. On completion, they moved on to the monkey bars where they swung from bar to bar without skipping or they had to restart. The next stage was the tunnel escape. For this course, they had to crawl on all fours as fast as possible through one side of the tunnel to the other before proceeding to climb up and down the steps. The final course involved climbing a simple wall to complete the entire course.
How they did
The challenge was a game of speed and stamina and they all put in efforts with a few stumbling along the way but they quickly picked themselves up and got back in the swing of things. In the end, Kiddwaya clinched the victory in record time.
Kiddwaya’s prize remains a mystery as Biggie announced that he will be awarded on Monday. Just like Kiddwaya, we are also looking forward to what he will be rewarded with and if he will be sharing it with anyone special.
Party with DJ Switch and CDQ
It’s set to be a Saturday Night to remember in the Big Brother Naija Lockdown House with DJ Switch and CDQ!
Every Saturday is a memorable Saturday for the Housemates. Whether they are bringing, keeping it grounded with high life or keeping it old school, you know they look forward to the Saturday Night party as much as we do.
With just a sample of what you can expect this weekend, we hope you are ready to have some fun in the Lockdown with the Lockdown geng. We will see you on Saturday.
Betway Sports Trivia ninjas
Every Thursday we await the performance of the Big Brother Naija Lockdown Housemates in the Betway Sports Trivia.
Friday is Betway Trivia day in the House and as you have seen from week to week, the Housemates are getting the hang of it more and more and getting into the full vibe! Today was a great day for the teams as we check out how it went down.
Team White was represented by Tolanibaj, Kiddwaya, Erica, Trickytee, Laycon, Brighto and Nengi.
Team Black was represented by Dorathy, Lucy, Neo, Vee, Ozo, Prince and Wathoni.
Who asks the best questions?
When it comes to asking the questions we know that some have more attitude than others. We always enjoy Vee’s side jabs, in addition to Wathoni’s chilled vibe, and Tolanibaj’s no-nonsense attitude. Of course, the session would not be complete without Trikytee putting on an accent in addition to his wig. The banter seemed to keep the Housemates going for the entire session, allowing them to laugh through their wins and losses. the Housemates had to get used to the fact that they did not have
The kings of the castle
When it comes to the Betway Sports Trivia Games, it seems that the guys always take the leading role in answering questions. Today the leads were Kiddwaya and Laycon for Team White and Ozo and Prince for Team White. Though they were not always right, they had most of the answers. Many of them recounted blow by blow accounts of events from their memories as if they were re-living moments.
Today’s winning team by a slim, single point was Team Black who celebrated for a very short time before re-entering the House to refresh and refuel.
It is tough enough to know some of these answers without the help of google, and the Housemates seem to do well every week. How many of the questions were you able to answer?
Working for the fans
The Big Brother Naija Lockdown Housemates take to the gym every morning. Today some were working their thoughts out, discussing what branding will mean for them outside the House.
Keeping it light
After the Kuda Task and last night’s deep Wager session, the Housemates made it to the Arena this morning to partake in their workouts of the day in high spirits. Everyone except Laycon who was happy enough sitting on the sidelines while his Housemates continued- one or two Housemates stopping to ask him if he was ok- which he said he was. Though the session is meant for working out, it’s not just the body that works, as we caught up with some Housemates who discussed how the branding from the House will benefit them outside.
Wathoni spent the morning walking around the Arena at a steady pace on her own, while Laycon spent the whole morning sitting on the bench interacting with those who stopped by him. Prince worked on his fitness alone as he has been prone to do of late, though he was later joined by Trikytee who was previously working out with Brighto and Kiddwaya.
Neo led one crew in the first workout of the morning. The crew consisted of Lucy, Dorathy, Erica, Vee, Nengi and Tolanibaj who of course seemed to enjoy the session. When the crew settled down for more floor and core workouts they were joined by Ozo who helped push them. Lucy and Dorathy broke off from the group at this point as they were not working out today. They made happy by showing each other how to do splits and chatting about general life.
Brighto and Kiddwaya took up their regular spot in the Arena where they usually talk about anything and everything. After their separate workouts today the conversation seemed to start with how the viewers and fans view the Housemates. Brighto told Kiddwaya that viewers started by checking Housemate’s performance in HoH Games, Saturday Night Party energy and Housemate’s day-to-day energy to pick who their faves were. Kiddwaya agreed and continued that social media plays a big part too. ‘People check your social media and check your life, how you’re like, and it forms an idea in your head’, said Kiddwaya. ‘Exactly’, replied Brighto. They continued to talk about how celebrities play a big part in the Housemates Game when they pick a fave.
They know who I am
While some napped, others danced. Tolanibaj joined Brighto and Kiddwaya in their corner and the conversation went further, starting with Kiddwaya remarking ‘I’m sure Prince’s whole village is voting for him’, which sparked part two of their conversation. The trio related to each other how the week has been long, just as the journey so far has. Tolanibaj exclaimed that she is going to just have fun until Sunday.
Kiddwaya responded ‘If you go, you go’ adding that ‘It depends on how you use it on the outside’. He continued that they did not know how the Housemates were outside, for all they knew, the ex Housemates were killing it outside. Tolanibaj was happy to have done the Pepsi and Indomie challenges, saying ‘At least they know who I am’, adding later that ‘They branded our faces on their merch, it’s not easy now’. The Housemates continued weighing up their Tasks so far, satisfied that they had already made a mark and being in the House this long was already a Win for them.
As Sunday looms, we can see that Evictions are already on the Housemate’s minds, and we wait to see what it means when they say they just want to have fun this weekend.
A Night of Reconciliations
After the Wager presentation, the House was filled with resolutions and recalling of events in the House.
The House was in a calm mood after such an emotional revelation at the Wager presentation and it was no surprise that the House was full of nothing but chilled vibes all night.
Taking another step in the ship
During the Wager presentation, Wathoni gave an emotional speech about her son being her hero and after the Task, Vee and Neo were cuddled up on the couch talking about how Wathoni makes them want to have a baby. Neo brought up this conversation after planting some kisses on Vee’s lips and Vee replied telling him that Wathoni makes her want to have a baby too, but they’ll have to get married first. So, does this mean we’re having a BB Naija wedding soon? Biggie, are you ready?
Before this discussion between the couple, Vee and Neo had yet another food fight. The number of fights these two has had over food sha, if it’s not semo, it’s poundo potato lol. Earlier today, the food fight lasted all evening and they didn’t get to settle their differences until after the Wager Task presentation when Neo walked up to Vee and kissed her.
“I hear that we often fight about food,” Vee tells him as they cuddle on the couch. Then they go on to talk about how sharing food should or should not be normalized in their relationship. While Vee believed Neo ought to ask first before touching her foo, Neo thought that being an item means they should be open to sharing things. “It makes me happy to share things with you,” he told her and she replied saying, “It makes me happy to share with you too but not every time”.
Minutes after they settled their hundredth food fight in the House, Vee and Neo happily ate a meal of semo for dinner.
Thank you, Biggie!
Remember when Biggie punished the House last week for their failure to adhere to his rules and stopped providing hot water? Well, it may seem as though Biggie has forgiven his guests as he announced the Wager presentation. Who would have thought that we would be hearing the sentence, “Housemates, hot water is now available” this soon? Could it be because Biggie forgave the Housemates after they chorused an apology during the Wager Task presentation, or maybe it’s a sign that he was impressed by their emotional performance and rewarded them with a hot bath to calm their nerves tonight?
A broken ship?
Did Tolanibaj and Prince break up? Yesterday, they both discussed taking things slow in their relationship. Tolanibaj still has this feeling that Prince doesn’t like her as much as she would want him to, or perhaps, he just sucks at showing his feelings towards her.
In the Garden, Wathoni and Prince talked about his entanglement in the House and the commotion it caused amongst the ladies involved. He then went ahead to tell her that he never chose anyone from the beginning, just as he explained to Ebuka on Sunday. He said Tolanibaj thinks he’s too stuck up and serious and he blames this on how he grew up.
When asked about his current situation with Nengi, Prince said she hasn’t spoken to him in a while and she has been avoiding him intentionally and even ignoring him sometimes. “Even during the games in the Arena, when I’m doing well and other Housemates are cheering me on, I always look at her and she gives no reaction,” he added.
A reconciliation between Neo and Vee, Prince and Wathoni and Biggie and the Housemates all in one night? It couldn’t have gotten any better for the Lockdown geng.
The Lockdown Housemates got us all teary-eyed as they took us through this emotional Wager Task presentation.
The Wager Challenge this week took the Housemates on a personal journey, which was a celebration of the heroes in their lives, someone with a very special meaning to each of them.
On Monday, they were tasked to develop an artwork dedicated to this very special person. Art supplies were provided on Tuesday, giving them ample time to produce their masterpiece.
Today’s art pieces will be judged based on the quality of art but by the story, they tell, and Biggie will reveal the result of the Wager tomorrow evening.
Today’s art pieces will be judged based on the quality of art but by the story, they tell, and Biggie will reveal the result of the Wager tomorrow evening. Each Housemate had to present their art piece or pieces in front of the House. Tonight, they had to tell the House the inspiration behind the art piece, who it is dedicated to and why you consider that person a superhero. The Housemates were not timed on this presentation; however, the Head of House had the liberty to determine the length of each presentation.
The gig for tonight is that the more personal and creative each presentation is, the more they are likely to win their Wager. The presentation took place in the Lounge, with Ozo coordinating the whole process and Lucy hosting the art show.
My Mother, My Hero
The Housemates were told to feel free and vulnerable, tell their story as well as they can, as it is their truth. Starting with appreciative messages and tributes to their mothers as their heroes, Erica, Trikytee, Vee, Lucy and Nengi presented their art pieces as they shared emotional stories about their mothers.
We found it very cute that while they all had different stories, they all had the same type of love and emotions and reactions as they took the House through their presentation. While Erica told us an emotional story about how her mother raised her as a single mom, providing the best things of life using the little resources she had, Trikytee also got us reaching out for tissue paper to dry our tears as he disclosed how his mother is the only one that comes through for him, even when things are rough. Brighto started his presentation with the popular Dolly Parton’s ‘Coat of Many Colours’ and let us in on his mother’s sacrifices to give him a good life. Also, on this table, sat Lucy and Vee as they took us on an emotional ride through their stories.
Although Lucy’s mother has died, she owes her strength and business mind to her second mother who is her aunty. Vee also disclosed her mother’s sacrificial qualities for the family, and she can’t wait to reward her. Nengi who lost her mother at a very young age and her father at an even younger age left us with a touching story that explained how much of a pillar her mother was to her while growing up. “I love you so much wherever you are,” she said while concluding her presentation.
I love you, dad!
Starting this category, Kiddwaya began the father’s appreciation stories in tonight’s Wager Task as he took us through the amazing qualities of his father, and how his dad has taught him everything great he has learnt in his life- from how to help others to how to have a good time in your journey in life, there’s no limit to what Kiddwaya has learnt from his father.
Ozo took the baton from Kiddwaya as he kept thanking his father for instilling love and discipline in his life. He recounted a story that changed his life as that eventful moment brought him back to reality and reminded him of why he will never disappoint his father. “I hope I can be 70 per cent the man that you are dad,” he said with so much love. Describing himself as “a broke boy from a rich house”, Neo told us about his large family and how the size of his family has never stopped his dad from being present in their lives and also did not fail to instil discipline in his many children.
Laycon also talked to us about his late father and his hard times while on earth. His art piece was a representation of his father’s hand looking over him and while he sees his mother as his hero, he decided to take this opportunity to give a tribute to his late father. Still, on tributes to fathers, Prince talked to us about what it is like to live in royalty and remain disciplined and focused without letting the privileges get to you. This is what Prince owes so much to his father as he sent across love and appreciation message to his father for all he does for the home and the village. “Thank you, dad, for every time you cautioned me and every time you beat me to show me the right way,” Prince said with a grateful heart.
Shoutout to other relatives who hold it down
Not all heroes wear capes. This is the case of the other family members that the Housemates listed as their heroes in their presentation tonight. Dorathy gave her hero message to her uncle who took over her father’s responsibilities in her life and that of her siblings after his father died. From getting her to one of the best universities to instilling great business acumen in her, her uncle sure deserves Superman’s cape. Tolanibaj gave her tribute to her sisters for coming through for her in times where she was confused and depressed. “My sisters, my rock,” she said as she took us on this emotional yet short presentation about the role her sisters played in her life.
Wathoni ended this with an emotional presentation about her son being her hero. She started this presentation with the popular children’s song, ‘shark-do-do’ as she talked us through how her life with her son is centred around music and words between them. Going through a day-in-her life with her son, she let us in on the beautiful mother-son relationship. What got the Housemates wide-eyed was when she revealed the story of how she conceived her son without having any sexual intercourse. Such brave reveal.
While we await the results from Biggie tomorrow evening, do you think the House deserves a Wager win this week?
Just before the Task
While the Housemates waited to make their presentations, they had a blast making jests in the House.
it never takes the Housemates quite long to find something to indulge in while they wait for any event. Today they found interesting topics to make conversations with while they waited.
Money on my mind
Laycon has millions on his mind as he imagined auctioning his painting and someone in attendance making a surprise bid running into millions of dollars. Remember today’s Wager Task involved the Housemate creating artworks for presentation. Laycon already has plans for his masterpiece when he is done presenting. Dorathy also has some choice properties she has gotten in the House that she contemplates putting up for auction. Here’s hoping they do get high bids for these items when and if they do put them up for auction.
Exit group chat
A lot of plans are being made for the future and one of them is creating a chat group for the Housemates. Jokes were made about how the group chat should welcome the Housemates as they got Evicted from the House. A few were of the Housemates clamoured to be made ‘Admins’ on the group so that they could add whomever they wanted. One thing we know about group chat is that one minute, its all fun and games and the next minute “XXXX has left the group”. Hopefully, that won’t be the case with the Lockdown Geng.
As they waited for their Kuda presentation, the Housemates, led by Dorathy took time to inspect their paintings for the Wager Task and gave amusing feedbacks as they each explained the rationale behind their paintings. They made fun guess about the messages the images were passing as they gave their funny feedbacks. They even had accompanying songs to mock the painting. They questioned the credibility of the paintings while mocking obvious flaws like why a road in the village was tarred or how Neo thought Vee’s painting was a kidnappers’ hideaway.
It’s nice to see them laugh before their Wager presentation. That means the back-to-back loss they experienced isn’t getting to them and when your vision isn’t clouded by past failures, it’s a lot easier to see where you are headed. Hopefully, the Housemates are headed for victory tonight.
Kuda’s brief is here
Once again, the BB Naija Housemates have another Task to complete and this time, it’s from the folks at Kuda Bank.
Today’s Task in the BB Naija House is about Kuda and the Kuda Break Free Games. The Head of House has briefed the House on this new Task they are about to take on. The Task is divided into two exciting activities. The first part is called the Break Free Skit while the second is the Break Free Game.
Picking a team
The Housemates had to first divide themselves into three groups named.
Team Free Bank Transfers
Team No Funny Charges
Team Free ATM Card
To determine their teams, The Housemates took turns picking a card out of a box bearing the cards with the team names
Team Free Bank Transfers
Team No Funny Charges
Team Free ATM Card
With the Housemates divided into the groups, the time is now ticking as they have only two hours to prepare for the first task. Once the time elapses, they will make their way to the garden to make their presentations.
Each Housemate was given a personalised backpack containing their Kuda Bank merchandise and outfits which they had to wear before they prepared for the Task.
After a successful outing at the previous Task, the bar has been raised and we can’t wait to see what the Housemates plan to present for their skits.
